20160621 ECM Technologies – Mr. Hans-Henk Wolters – “New heat exchanger bundles: potential for improving heat transfer in distillation”

ECM has a long record in electrochemical machining of equipment components and devices by using electrochemical pathways to shape metal surfaces and produce complex 3D structures; a high-tech SME with reputable international clients. The ECM technology and its applications were highlighted.

A new development is shaping the internal surfaces of metal tubes to promote turbulence, increase internal surface and reduce fouling tendency to be applied for tubular heat exchangers with increased efficiency and improved cleaning. The method applies to any metal and alloy. It is also used to fabricate micro-reactors and micro-separators. Besides, ECM uses Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation to produce metallic membranes. www.electrochemicalmachining.com
