20160913 Neutralox GmbH (DE) – Mr. Udo Laser – “Neutralox”

Neutralox in Germany (represented in NL by Merrem & LaPorte) combines generating oxidative Oxygen radicals in air by UV light with the catalytic properties of an adsorbent to destroy organic compounds in gas streams.

Originally the process was developed to remove smell from wastewater off gases. Today Neutralox is also applied for destruction of hazardous and smelly constituents in industrial off gases from dryers, truck-loading, vent gases etc.

The catalytic adsorber is the essential element to enable handling large variations of organic load in the feed stream. It adsorbs the overload in its matrix for gradual destruction later when the load is reduced. This also results in compact units with small footprints and low pressure drops or power consumption. The process can be switched off and on at will and requires hardly any start-up period in the temperatures from -30 to +50°C. www.neutralox.de; www.merrem.nl
